We are based at Standard Wharf on Manor Road in Erith, which puts us minutes from the A2, A20, M25 Junctions 1a and 2, and the Dartford Crossing. From there we cover more than twenty-five areas across London, Kent and Surrey — from Erith, Bexleyheath and Dartford through Greenwich, Shoreditch and Islington to Hammersmith, Fulham, Richmond, Wembley, Greenford, Ilford and out as far as Banstead and Selsdon. What it costs
Our minimum callout is quoted individually which covers the the work involved. Anything beyond that is charged at agreed up front. You are told the total on the phone before we set off, and that is the price you pay.
While you wait
If you are on a motorway or dual carriageway, get to the hard shoulder or an emergency refuge area if you possibly can, put your hazard lights on, leave the vehicle by the left-hand doors and wait behind the barrier. On smaller roads, stay visible and well clear of moving traffic. Keep your phone to hand — our driver will call you.

Questions we get asked
What information do you need when I ring?
Where you are (a postcode, road name or what3words is ideal), the make, model and registration, and what the car is doing — will not start, lost power, warning light, noise. Tell us too if it has no keys, will not roll or is somewhere with a height barrier. With that we can give you a fixed price and an honest arrival time on the first call.
Where will you take my car?
Wherever you want it to go — home, your own garage, a main dealer, or our workshop in Erith, where we can diagnose and repair it ourselves. If you are not sure, we can store it securely at our yard overnight while you decide.
Can I travel in the recovery truck with you?
Yes, in most cases. Our trucks carry passengers, so you and usually one other adult can ride with us. If you have more people, children needing car seats or a pet, tell us when you ring so we can plan for it.
Do I need to be a member to use your breakdown service?
No. There is no membership and no annual fee — you pay for the job you need, at a price agreed before we set off. Many of our customers are AA or RAC members who have been quoted a long wait and would rather pay to be moved now.
Can you recover vans, 4x4s and motorbikes?
Yes. We recover cars, vans, 4x4s, motorbikes and light commercials. For larger vans, loaded vehicles or anything unusual, tell us the details when you ring so we send the right truck.

Our yard is at Standard Wharf, 189 Manor Road in Erith, DA8 2AD, and every truck starts from there. If you are in Bexley, Dartford, Greenwich or anywhere in that belt we are usually with you inside half an hour. Further into London or out towards Medway and Maidstone it is closer to an hour. Ring us with your postcode and we will give you a real number rather than a hopeful one — and if somebody closer would genuinely reach you faster in an emergency, we will say so.
